Teroson RB VII D10 - black self-adhesive butyl rubber, 10 m

Permanently plastic, self-adhesive, multipurpose sealing compound based on synthetic rubber without solvents in the form of a tape. Thanks to its high adhesiveness, the sealant adheres to all clean and dry surfaces and exhibits excellent compatibility with a wide range of materials.

These properties make Teroson suitable for use as an internal sealing interlayer in overlapping surfaces. The sealed parts must be mechanically fixed. It effectively serves as protection against corrosion and can be painted with common oil-based and synthetic coatings. The material shows very good resistance to water and aging.

Areas of application:

• For sealing overlapped steel, aluminum, glass, or plastic structures.
• As protection against contact corrosion between steel and non-ferrous metals.
• In the manufacture of cars, wagons, mobile homes, and trailers.
• For sealing metal, wooden, and plastic parts.
• In the electrical industry for sealing and mounting parts without vibrations.
