TEROSON RB 1060 is a solvent-containing non-flowable sealant based on synthetic rubber. Thanks to the combination of solvent and rubber, it is possible to smooth the surface within 15 to 30 minutes after application, despite the rapid formation of a skin. It can also be dried in a drying oven at a maximum temperature of 90°C without creating blisters.

TEROSON RB 1060 is a solvent-containing non-flowable sealant based on synthetic rubber. Thanks to the combination of solvent and rubber, it is possible to smooth the surface within 15 to 30 minutes after application, despite the rapid formation of a skin. It can also be dried in a drying oven at a maximum temperature of 90°C without creating blisters.
The dry product can be repainted with two-component paints, and when using synthetic paints, repainting is possible almost immediately after achieving handling strength. TEROSON RB 1060 has very good adhesion to bare, painted, or primer-treated metal sheets. Repainting is possible under the following conditions:
- - allow to dry for at least 16 hours for proper drying
- - spray a fine first coat of paint as a primer
- - perform the final painting after the first layer has dried.
APPLICATION AREA
TEROSON RB 1060 is used for sealing joints in vehicle bodywork in auto repair shops. The material can also be partially used on visible joints, but it must be protected by repainting against UV radiation.
