SKF PCMW 426601.5 E axial sliding ring, steel-PTFE

PCMW 426601.5 E is an axial sliding ring made of steel sheet with a PTFE working layer applied. The rings have high load capacity, very low friction, high sliding speed, and operate over a wide temperature range from -200 °C to +250 °C. They are suitable for operating conditions with high loads requiring maintenance-free operation. The sliding layer based on PTFE partially transfers to the opposite surface after a short running-in period, creating a physically bound sliding film. However, regular lubrication improves performance and extends their lifespan.
