Sika®Primer-215 is a transparent to slightly yellowish primer solution with low viscosity that dries and cures by reacting with atmospheric moisture. The product is specially formulated for preparing bonded surfaces when adhering various plastics, wood, or other porous materials before applying Sika® polyurethane adhesives. Sika® Primer-215 is manufactured in accordance with ISO quality standards 9001/14001.
APPLICATION AREA
Sika® Primer-215 is used to improve adhesion on composite plastics such as fiberglass, epoxy resins, PVC, ABS, and wood. Due to the wide variety of chemical compositions of plastics, preliminary adhesion tests are necessary. Sika® Primer-215 should not be used on plastics prone to stress cracking such as PMMA or PC.
