PATTEX stove sealant is a one-component sealant based on inorganic materials with heat resistance up to 1,200°C (temporarily 1,500°C). It is designed for sealing and repairing cracks in stoves, boilers, fireplaces, pipes, chimneys, furnaces, cooking boilers, exhaust pipes, and grills. It creates a hard bond without cracks.
Before use:
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease. Cut off the top of the cartridge above the thread and screw the nozzle onto the cartridge. The tip of the nozzle must be trimmed according to the width of the gap/joint. Insert the cartridge into the application gun. Apply the sealant evenly into the joints.
Application:
Apply the sealant evenly. If necessary, the surface of the sealant can be smoothed with a spatula before it dries. Allow to dry for at least 2 days and then gradually increase the temperature slowly to avoid bubble formation.
Cleaning:
Remove excess adhesive immediately with a damp cloth. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
