Loxeal METALOX is a two-component, fast-curing, and thixotropic epoxy resin free of solvents, with excellent resistance to water and many chemical agents. It is specially designed for repairs and/or bonding of metallic substrates and also a range of other substrates such as concrete, wood, etc. It acts as an adhesive filler, suitable for repairing metal castings, pipes, or flanges and also for body repairs in the automotive industry.
The fast curing of Loxeal METALOX allows for machining or sanding of bonded/repaired parts within a few hours after application, even outdoors. After polymerization, the adhesive is sandable and can be painted over. Loxeal METALOX can be cured at + 60°C for 1 hour to accelerate curing and achieve high resistance.
