The Loctite SI 5910 gasket provides perfect sealing and protects against the ingress or leakage of liquids. It is applied to the joint surfaces of flanges, sealing them so that the flange surfaces only minimally touch, thus protecting them from contact corrosion. Loctite SI 5910 can be applied primarily to metal parts, but also to plastic or painted surfaces – it withstands even permanent contact with oil. Due to its extensible properties, it fills and seals larger gaps very well. A significant advantage is also the thixotropic nature of the Loctite SI 5910 gasket, which means that after application, it does not run and holds well in place.
