The Loctite LB 8009 anti-seize lubricant based on graphite and calcium fluoride provides reliable protection in operational conditions against various negative influences. It protects against seizing and galling, as well as reducing mechanical wear of moving joints and machine parts. Loctite LB 8009 is also suitable for use as a break-in lubricant. A major advantage is the temperature resistance of this lubricant, allowing it to be used up to +1315 °C. This makes it particularly useful in the chemical industry, refineries, power plants, steel mills, foundries, and anywhere temperature resistance is important. The lubricant is suitable for all metals including stainless steel and titanium.
