Furthermore, Loctite 510 prevents contact corrosion that would otherwise occur at the joint of both flange surfaces. The Loctite 510 flat sealant is particularly useful for common sealing in both industry and household. The sealant can be applied manually, but it is also suitable for screen printing. It cures in the gap between two metal flange surfaces and achieves medium strength but high resistance to heat up to 200 °C. Overall, Loctite 510 is a suitable sealant for mechanical repairs and flange sealing.
