Klüber POLYLUB GLY 801 - 1 kg

The POLYLUB GLY 801 product line is based on synthetic hydrocarbon oil, mineral oil, and a special lithium soap. These lubricating greases have been developed to reduce friction and protect against wear in sliding bearings, sliding guides, or small plastic gears. Additionally, the special properties of plastic lubrication must be considered. Since metals and plastics behave differently in key aspects, the properties of the lubricant must be adapted to plastic. Plastics are relatively soft compared to metals. Solid lubricants, which often have a positive effect on metal friction points, can negatively affect plastic surfaces or be ineffective. With POLYLUB 801, Klüber Lubrication has developed a range of products for plastic lubrication that does not contain solid lubricants and adheres well.

Areas of application:

• Automotive: Shift rods, movable parts of heating and ventilation controls, shock absorber seals, connecting rod elements, seat mechanisms, sunroof guides, pedals. 
• Gears: Small electric gears with plastic-metal friction bodies, manual gears with very low sliding speeds.
• Pneumatic systems: Pneumatic valves and pneumatic cylinders with and without piston rods (the upper operating temperature range should be a maximum of 130 °C)
• Seals: Lubricating and sealing grease for various types of seals. Additionally, this product line can be used for many other plastic components that wear out due to relative motion against metal or plastic surfaces. They reduce noise and largely prevent unwanted noise.
