FT – 300 - PTFE sliding lacquer and release agent 400 ml

FT – 300 is an advanced development of the PTFE – Spray FT-200 and differs from it by its extremely strong adhesion. Even when processing abrasive materials, the sprayed film retains its adhesion on treated surfaces, providing these surfaces with excellent release and sliding properties. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) content is approximately 15%, and this substance bonds very well with metal, plastic, wood, and glass surfaces after spraying.

FT-300 is used as a release agent, for example, in the production of:

• Plastic molds (e.g., injection molding, hot forming…)
• In sintering processes (tools with sintered carbide cutting edges, diamond tools)
• Abrasive materials (friction linings, grinding materials)
• Products on presses for cold and hot pressing
• Processing of epoxy resin
• Rubber parts
• Shaped parts by centrifugal/rotational casting

This product has also proven to be a sliding auxiliary agent and dry lubricant. By creating protective coatings on cutting tools, it is possible to eliminate the use of lubricating and release oils (e.g., silicone). This leads to less contamination and cleaner components. The very low molecular weight of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) ensures an extremely low coefficient of friction, thus providing excellent anti-adhesive and sliding properties.

Processing temperature: up to +270°C

The FT-300 film is water-repellent and shows absolute resistance to acids. The formulation does not contain chlorine, gasoline, or acids.

Application: Apply to surfaces in a uniform and thin layer by spraying. After approximately 5-10 minutes (depending on ambient temperature), the film is dry and firmly adherent and can be integrated into the processing process.
