Sika Primer-209 D is a black solvent-based primer that reacts with moisture to create a thin layer. This layer acts as a bond between substrates and adhesives.

Application area:

Sika Primer-209 D is used to improve adhesion for many plastics and paints such as GRP, epoxy resins, PVC, ABS, PMMA, PC, PS, and acrylic, alkyd/melamine, powder coatings, and baked finishes. To ensure adhesion and compatibility of materials, adhesion tests with current substrates and conditions must be conducted prior to application.
