Loctite 5398 is a flexible silicone adhesive/sealant (red color), highly flowable, designed for bonding, sealing, and high-temperature protection up to 350 °C wherever painting of the bonded joint is not required. It is resistant to 350 °C for short periods - at peaks. Silicone adhesives are very advantageous due to their unique properties. For example, Loctite SI 5398 is proof of that. This silicone sealant, but also a high-strength adhesive with a volume of 310 ml, creates a truly strong yet elastic bond after curing, which has the ability to absorb dynamic stresses well, making the bond very durable.
