Typical applications are for temperatures up to 350°C. It increases the load-bearing capacity of the joint and the ability to absorb shocks in the bonded area. Painting is not recommended. Primarily, Loctite 5300 is intended for industrial applications of bonding and sealing, heating, industrial dryers, electrical and heating equipment in households for sealing flue pipes and chimneys of stoves and industrial furnaces, electrical devices, and ventilation systems.
