Loctite 424 - 50 g, instant adhesive

Loctite 424 is an excellent product that can be classified as an instant adhesive for rubber. It offers the highest adhesive performance when bonding NBR, EPDM, and other elastomers, but it also bonds plastics and metals just as effectively.

Not recommended:

• to be used in pure oxygen or oxygen-rich systems and should not be used for sealing chlorine or other strongly oxidizing materials.

For the best bonding results, the surfaces to be bonded should be clean and degreased. To accelerate curing (due to a large gap between the bonded parts), it is recommended to use a suitable activator. However, this may lead to reduced final strength of the bonded joint (testing is necessary to verify the results).
