A polyxystearan-based preparation for protecting porous materials against adverse weather conditions, water ingress, aggressive chemicals, and dirt from the atmosphere, frost, and de-icing salts. It protects exposed and non-structural concrete, bricks, plasters, wood, natural and artificial stone. It enhances the natural grain and appearance of the treated material. It creates a self-cleaning, hydrophobic surface. It prevents moss growth. It minimizes efflorescence formation. One or two coats can be applied, but usually one coat is sufficient. Drying time is 3-4 hours, and the surface is water-resistant after 24 hours. Approximate consumption is 0.20 - 0.25 l/m2. Coverage is 4 - 5 m2/l. The coating is effective for at least 5 to 10 years. Treatment can be renewed additionally.
